It came via a fan’s suggestion on Reddit, so it seems the developer listens to the community. It comes down to how far you travel with the Pathfinder grapple ability. Of course, you could also fall somewhere in between those numbers.

The variation includes the shortest possible cooldown of only 10 seconds, while the longest one will be 35 seconds. The Pathfinder grapple cooldown is based on the distance the legend traveled while using the grapple that time around. Instead of being a set time for everyone, it will vary and change based on handling his grappling tactical ability. The Pathfinder grapple cooldown will no longer be the standard set 25/35 seconds like you would see for other characters. The changes to it are unique when compared to cooldowns for other legends. One of the most notable changes besides Bloodhound is the Pathfinder grapple cooldown when it comes to other legends in this update. The eight-second cooldown should now balance out the pulses more. Though they weren’t great before, they are now a strong character who was maybe a little too strong. Respawn notes that Bloodhound has been treated quite nicely in this season. The tactical ability cooldown for Bloodhound changed while the ultimate ability is active from six seconds to eight seconds. While that is a minor change for Rampart, Bloodhound has a significant one that could help or hurt players who like them. The rate at which Sheila’s bullet spread tightens has increased in this update, so you should see some slight changes when using the weapon as Rampart or another legend. Sheila, Rampart’s trusty old machine gun partner, is her ultimate ability and she is getting changed in this update. However, she is getting her first changes here to change up how Sheila works in combat. She is the latest character to join the roster.

The Aftermarket collection event allows players to collect 24 new items released today for two weeks. Even though we just got a new event last month, Respawn ensures that players kick off the second half of this season in style. These will, hopefully, make the game more balanced in the process.īut the new Apex Legends update isn’t just important for bringing changes to the meta, but it is also the start of the Aftermarket limited-time event. In total, there are changes for Rampart that mark some of the first ones for her since her launch this season, Bloodhound, Pathfinder, Wraith, Crypto, and Loba, who gets some of her first changes as well. The update brings some potentially major changes for some of the characters in the roster, especially when it comes to Bloodhound, Pathfinder, and Wraith.
