Konbini Kareshi is being produced by Studio Pierrot, and will follow the six boys of the original project as they fall in love. Joining the cast will be singer Mariko Nagai as Akira Mishima, and Kotaro Nishiyama (Atsushi Kinugawa, Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!) and Shunsuke Takeuchi (Revolver in the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS) as the shopkeekers at the convenience store.
